I’ve been to Mardik a few times in the last few years for several repairs and he’s excellent. Recently, he repaired an antique Victorian bracelet and found a suitable replacement diamond that fit the same vibe and tone of the other mixed rose and Old European cut diamonds. He told me exactly what he was planning to do and the charge for each, rather than a vague promise with unknown fees.

It’s not easy to find trustworthy service for jewelry, especially because so few people have the skill and outsource it, and because there are so many scammers who will switch out stones or rip you off.

KJ is a gem of a shop and I’m happy to recommend him to anyone.
